Your tour begins and ends at the London Bridge Resort Executive Dock, just steps from our Ticket Booth in the London Bridge English Village at the foot of the stairs of the London Bridge at London Bridge Resort. From there, we travel approximately 5 miles into the South Basin of Lake Havasu to Copper Canyon, considered one of the most scenic canyons on Lake Havasu.

Copper Canyon is especially beautiful at this time of day. As the sun lowers, the light casts colors and shadows across the rocks that you normally would not see during the middle of the day. It is one of the best times to experience the canyon and its natural beauty.

Along the way, we share the history of the London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, city founder Robert P. McCulloch, and the surrounding Colorado River Valley. We also share the mining history of Copper Canyon and its importance during the mining era along this stretch of the Colorado River.

After departing Copper Canyon, we travel toward the North Basin and around the island, where passengers can enjoy wide-open views of Lake Havasu, the surrounding mountains, the city, and the colors of the sunset across the water.

As we travel around the island, we point out Lake Havasu’s miniature replica lighthouses along the shoreline and share how they are part of the lake’s unique character. During the summer months, this tour is a wonderful way to still enjoy lighthouse scenery from the water while also taking in Copper Canyon, sunset colors, city lights, and the London Bridge lit up on the return.

As the tour continues, the lake begins to change with the evening light. The sunset colors reflect across the water, the city comes into view from the lake, and the lights of the North Basin begin to glow.

What to Bring

Complimentary bottled water is provided on board.

Passengers are welcome to bring other beverages, including wine or cocktails, along with a small cooler and light snacks. Plastic cups are available if needed. If you would like clean ice for beverages or cocktails, let us know when you check in and we willprovide it for you.

Please avoid stemware on board.

In the winter months, we recommend dressing in layers, as it can feel cooler on the water after sunset. Heavy warm blankets are available on board for your comfort.

In the summer months, we recommend comfortable clothing, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The Kon Tiki Canyon Cruiser is a covered pontoon vessel, and cool towels are available on board to help keep you comfortable.
