Lake Havasu Copper Canyon Tour

Our Copper Canyon Tour is one of our most popular Lake Havasu boat tours for good reason. It is scenic, narrated, easy to enjoy, and filled with some of the most beautiful canyon views on the lake.

In just 60 minutes, passengers can experience the beauty of the South Lake Basin, the rugged scenery of Copper Canyon, the London Bridge story, Lake Havasu City history, and the mining-era history that makes this canyon such an important part of the Colorado River Valley.

Aboard Kon Tiki Canyon Cruiser

Kon Tiki Canyon Cruiser is our custom covered, open-air pontoon vessel with comfortable seating for up to 18 passengers. She offers a relaxed and comfortable way to explore Copper Canyon, enjoy the scenery, and take in one of Lake Havasu’s most iconic natural areas.

Copper Canyon, Lake Views & Local History

Your tour begins and ends at the London Bridge Resort Executive Dock, just steps from our Ticket Booth in the London Bridge English Village at the foot of the stairs of the London Bridge at London Bridge Resort.

From there, we travel approximately 5 miles into the South Lake Basin of Lake Havasu to Copper Canyon, considered one of the most scenic canyons on the lake.

As the canyon walls come into view, the scenery begins to change. The lake opens into rugged rock formations, desert shoreline, and one of the most photographed natural areas on Lake Havasu.

Along the way, we share the story of the London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, city founder Robert P. McCulloch, and how the bridge helped shape the city visitors see today.

Copper Canyon itself is rich in local mining history and is known as the site of one of the largest producing copper mines along this stretch of the Colorado River during the mining era.

As we travel, we are always watching for wildlife when nature allows. The lake, canyon walls, surrounding desert, and open scenery also create great photo opportunities throughout the tour.
