On this 2-hour tour aboard the Kon Tiki Canyon Cruiser, we share 18 of Lake Havasu’s 28 replica lighthouses, including their original locations and brief history. This tour also includes Copper Canyon, one of the most scenic canyons on Lake Havasu, along with the London Bridge story and the history of Lake Havasu City.
The Lake Havasu Lighthouse Story
Lake Havasu is home to a miniature replica lighthouse program found nowhere else in the world.
In 2000, the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club was formed by a group of local boaters and artisans who wanted to improve navigational lighting around the lake. They pooled their talents, raised funds, and began building and installing working miniature replica lighthouses along the shoreline.
What started as a local boating and navigation project became one of Lake Havasu’s most unique and memorable attractions.
Today, 28 working miniature replica lighthouses are located around Lake Havasu, representing famous lighthouses from across the United States and Canada.
The working replica lighthouses are placed around the island and along the Arizona and California shorelines, representing famous lighthouses from across the United States and Canada.
On our Lighthouse Tour, we share 18 of the 28 replica lighthouses, including their original locations and brief history.

Replica Lighthouses, London Bridge History & Copper Canyon
Your tour begins and ends at the London Bridge Resort Executive Dock, just steps from our Ticket Booth in the London Bridge English Village at the foot of the stairs of the London Bridge at London Bridge Resort.
From the dock, we travel north through the Bridgewater Channel into the North Lake Basin and begin making our way around the island, viewing replica lighthouses along the shoreline as we share their original locations and brief history.
As the tour continues, we head south into the South Lake Basin to view lighthouses along the California shoreline before continuing to Copper Canyon.
Copper Canyon is considered one of the most scenic canyons on Lake Havasu and is rich in local mining history. It is known as the site of one of the largest producing copper mines along this stretch of the Colorado River during the mining era.
This tour includes our Copper Canyon Tour, giving passengers lighthouse history, lake views, Copper Canyon scenery, and local history in one beautifully paced 2-hour tour.
Throughout the tour, we share the story of the London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, city founder Robert P. McCulloch, and how the bridge helped shape the city visitors see today.
Our turnaround point is near Pilot Rock. As we make our way back, we view lighthouses along the Arizona shoreline and meander through a few quiet backwater coves and canyon areas where wildlife is often seen. Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, but we know where to look when nature allows.
